Short History
This is a product of a Rosarian Monastery. The Rosarians are the Contemplative Religious Order of the Roman Catholic Church. They are for prayer and penance, as a way of a penitential life they earn for their livelihood. Therefore they do farming, dairy and fruit cordials.
Since 1935, the monks produce the cordials from Tholagatty not to hit the world marketing target but for their living and as a service. In that case we are the pioneers in fruit cordials in Sri Lanka.
